What the app does

Beatpaws 578 is a rhythm practice app for working on 7/8 and 5/8 time signatures. It runs entirely on your device and does not require any online service.

Data collected

None. The app does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal or usage data. In particular, it uses:

  • no user account or identifier;
  • no analytics, statistics or crash reporting tools;
  • no advertising network or advertising identifier;
  • no access to the microphone, location, contacts or photos.

Data stored on your device

Your settings and the rhythms you save are stored locally, in the app’s storage on your device. The developer has no access to them. You can erase them at any time by deleting the app.

If iCloud Backup is enabled on your device, this local data may be included in that backup by Apple, under Apple’s own terms. The developer has no access to it either.

App Store and Apple

The app is distributed through the App Store. Downloads, updates and any purchases are handled by Apple under its privacy policy. If you have chosen to share data with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide the developer with aggregated, anonymous statistics (such as download or crash counts) that cannot identify you.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages. Since no data is collected, children can use it without any information about them being gathered.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and restriction. As the developer holds no data about you through the app, these rights are in practice exercised on your own device. For any question, write to stefgauthier@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL, or with your local authority.

Changes

If the way the app works changes in a way that affects your data, this policy will be updated on this page before the new version is released.
